Popeyes Chicken Sandwich !

         Awww man. Ya' know I had to do it. Popeyes, I'm glad ya' took that cursed sandwich off the menu. They got people lined up, out the door, around the corner and down the street like it's a legalized crack house. People, GROWN ADULTS, are in public establishments, throwing temper tantrums, filing lawsuits for emotional distress, and even pulling GUNS on employees just because they ran out of these dang chicken sandwiches. (Links to stories posted in 'Articles' tab). But I'm here to tell you that these sandwiches are NOT just chicken, flour, spices, pickles and a bun. What I have here is the official ingredients list for ONE spicy sandwich. 

•  Spicy Chicken Recipe: salt, selected blend of capsicums, garlic, monosodium, glutamate, cumin and  mustard. CONTAINS: MSG
• Poultry Batter: enriched bleached what flour (enriched with niacin, reduced iron, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), salt, s-pack, salt, sugar, FD&C yellow #5 (may also contain yellow #6, red #40, red #3, grape color extract, blue #1, blue #1, blue #2, beet color extract, annatto extract and/or turmeric extract), spices, dried whole eggs, nonfat dried milk, leavening (sodium bicarbonate and/or sodium aluminum sulfate), microcrystalline cellulose, natural flavor (all flavor ingredients contained in this flavor are approved for use in a regulation of food and drug administration or are listed as generally recognized as safe on a reliable published industry association list, this product also contains corn syrup solids). CONTAINS: wheat, egg, milk and yellow #5 & #6, red #3 and #40, blue #1 and blue #2.

       Aside from the ingredients of the sandwich itself, to all my Popeyes fans out there, I would keep an eye on them while they're actually preparing it. Not sure where this video was, but this is a video of a Popeyes restaurant obviously, and customers were lined up for refunds because there was an infestation by our friend Despereaux. (reference to the mouse movie).
