I'm a 19 year old Vegan of almost two years now. And I'm now in college studying for my bachelors in Alternative (Natural) Medicine. I plan on using my nutrition knowledge to teach and spread positive and perspective widening plant-based education.
I knew for a while that I wanted to go Vegan EVENTUALLY, in the not so near future. But in the year, 2019, in January I ended up doing a month long new year's fast. Which consisted of no meat, no starch, no dairy, no soda, nothing with added sugar, no candy so on and so forth. So I gave it a try and never looked back since !
People ask me all the time,
"How was it so easy to switch your whole life so fast?". The answer is simple. It's because of my parents. Ever since me and my younger brother were young, my parents, both being nurses, always kept us mindful of our diet and what things were beneficial to us and what weren't. Along with that, we allllllways had some sort of fruit or vegetable with our meals. And we could never get up from the table until we finished
ALL OF 'EM. It never failed either. Additionally, we traveled a lot, so our palates are quite developed. We never ate pork and rarely ate beef, just chicken, turkey, fish and occasionally other seafood. Because of those reasons, it was easy to give up meat, and there was so much I was already exposed to that I could eat. Therefore, because of my vast palate, I had plenty of cuisine confidence to try new things. Lastly, the final push, was the negative propaganda on the production aspects on meat and dairy and on their excessively cruel industries. I'm a nature lover at heart, so it was only a matter of time . (Links Below)
So basically, I've created this website to share general knowledge, recipes, helpful information, and positive insight on the beautiful lifestyle of being (mainly whole-foods) plant-based. I hope by spreading my knowledge I can plant
seeds in your mind that may
sprout something in you to shift towards the plant-based life to change your life for the better ! Peace and Love <333
