I know I been slackin' ya' , but i'm BACK. Presenting a new way for me to make SURE I give you guys weekly content. Full-Fact Friday's ! Every Friday ya' are going to get the rundown on something new. With that, the first full-fact topic is Vitamin A.

Vitamin A is VITAL for

  • The Immune System
  •  Reproduction
  • The Function of the; Heart, Lungs, Eyes, & Kidney
  • Healthy Skin & Cell growth

BUT, there are dangers associated with this vitamin. Specifically, a certain type of this vitamin. Furthermore, there are TWO types of Vitamin A; Retinoids and Beta-carotene. Retinoids are derived from animal products and Beta-carotenes stems from plants (excuse the pun lol). Now, can you get an idea of which one could potentially be dangerous ?.....Take a sec....YUP. You guessed it. The Retinoids. Overconsumption of retinoids (or vitamin A supplements) can cause toxicity. LEADING TO, osteoporosis (loss of mass in bones making them weak), blurred vision, fatigue, weight loss, and menstrual abnormalities. On the other hand, the beta-carotenes that are obtained from plants are 100% harmless ! Below are examples of a few of the best vegetables and fruits to get your dose of (beta-carotene) Vitamin A !
